Such a GREAT help!

Iv been out of work due to the family getting covid, I luckily didn't get it but my work has their own regulations on how to go about being around someone with covid. Those are you can't go back to work for 10 days even if you test negative to the test me just being around people who have it in my home made it so I actually had to stay home longer then the people who tested positive. So I unfortunately had no income or anything planned for this. I had used my emergency pay when my brother fell off of a cliff and I was the only one who could take care of him. So emergency pay was off the page for us, and I had my phone bill due, rent and car payment to pay for. I'm a server so I make my money on my performance everyday. When I check to see how bad I was falling into the hole I applied for an extension on my auto loan payment not believing I would ever get it (with the bad luck strike iv been facing the past year or two) so when I checked today to see I was approved for it I literally felt a weight being lifted off me. So grateful for this company and for making me feel the slittiest bit of hope. So I truly recommend to work with Capitol One ♡

So got the refinancing offer for months and finally decided to go for it. The process seems straightforward and very easy they quickly paid the loan and had everything ready so they could get my money. After 3 months they still don't have the paperwork figured out. I have had documents resubmitted and ever got them notarized again and still there is always an issue. Once one document if fixed another has an issue. At this point I will be trading in the car and closing all my accounts with them. They are rude on the phone and not helpful.

I've used them on 3 or 4 auto loans. They always give very good rates. 3 years ago I bought a used 2020 Tahoe and they gave me 2.75%.

Capital One Auto Finance violated my rights by reporting my non-public private information to the credit reporting agencies without my written and expressed consent nor did the provide me with an opportunity to Opt Out as required by law.

Extremely time consuming

I have several concerns This company does not allow you to ever refinance your loan for a better rate On several occasions it took months to update my payments and then they would back date it as if they updated the payment on time causing my credit not to increase

Unprofessional process

Not as easy a process as they say. Very unprofessional. Was approved and had to call for additional information. Couldn't understand people who I talked to. Kept on hold for 15 minutes while they figured out what was going on, only to be told to call back because their "system" was down. This is two days in a row. Horrible experience, and horrible customer service.

I was prequalified for a $60,000 auto loan. When I used their car navigator to look for cars ( at $40,000-$45,000) it kept telling me that Capital One can’t finance that much and a 8,000-10,000 dollar down payment was needed. I tried it with several different cars, new and used, and it kept saying the same thing. If they can’t finance the amount they approve you for, they shouldn’t offer it in the first place. I’ll never use Capital One again. I’m going back to my credit union!

I don’t know where to start with this, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! These people do NOT know how to do their job. I’m not gonna share my personal business on here, but if I were you save your time and do more research on auto loan companies and DO NOT FINANCE WITH CAPITAL ONE!!! Never gonna do business with them for car loans!!

They have been great! I applied for pre-approval and final approval hard check in April for a new truck. I submitted my 3 months of bank statements as requested as I am self employed! Next day it was all set and I picked up the truck at the dealership such a hassle free experience! And 2 weeks ago I was ready to trade in my wife's vehicle and was sure they wouldn't do a 2nd one within 4 months of the first auto loan! However just like last time the 2nd auto loan was a breeze and the interest rate was 3% less than what a dealership mentioned in July! And I don't have anywhere near perfect credit! It has been such a great experience!

Capital One has been amazing to us. The shopping was easy and painless: we were approved and walked into the dealership knowing exactly what we would paying along with the interest rate. Recently, we fell behind on payments, and Capital One entered us into a temporary payment reduction program. We make one good faith payment equal to half of one months payment (we were behind 90 days) and the account is immediately brought current. You pay half your monthly payment for the next 6 months. Pretty great company to deal with
