How are Caribou and FedPen allowed to stay in business is beyond me! Lies. broken promises, endless changes in requirements, the hidden fees. You name it, they do it! Stay away!

Caribou helped me refinance my car loan with Genisys Credit Union. It was not a difficult process and I'm very thankful to be paying so much less each month while having the extended warranty added, while saving $100/month. No prepayment penalties if you pay off your loan early. Great choice for me.

Even being far away, everything they said they would do, happened as they said! Some it was a challenge for this Ole guy, but they walked me through it all ! Great experience, obviously that's why they are so busy!

The whole process was pretty easy but I was never told that this would be through a third party; I thought it'd all be with Caribou which may be my own ignorance since this is my first ever refinance. However, I also had a payment coming due and my rep told me it'd be a super fast process so to just skip that payment and I'd be fine but the payoff wasn't sent until a week after she said it would be sent and no one notified me. Luckily my payments were on auto pay and I didn't turn it off just in case so my payment didn't end up going late, but I'm really glad I didn't follow her advice as I've never paid anything late.
